EMILY DIMBERIO
OWNER & FOUNDER
Emily is a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) through the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) since 2011. She started her medical billing career in 1998 and managed two successful billing companies in the DFW area until they sold. She now owns and operates Empire Medical Billing since 2021.
Outside of the office, Emily spends time with her family and friends. She also enjoys cooking, crafting, and reading in her free time.
SINDY HARRIS

Sindy’s first position in medical billing started in 2009 as a representative for uninsured patients, but quickly excelled and now processes demographics and charge entry. She now helps her husband manage their new family business but continues to work part-time as a charge poster.
Sindy and her husband have a daughter and a son. She loves to run and spend time outdoors. She also enjoys reading, making memories with her family, and being engaged in her local church.
KAT LAYNE
PAYMENT POSTER
Kat moved to Dallas, Texas, in 1995. Her first position in the medical field was with a local hospital in the emergency room. She also worked for a laboratory company before transitioning to billing operations. She is a vital part of the billing process and handles all payments for both patients and insurance companies. She also has experience as a charge poster and manager.
Kat enjoys spending time with her niece and nephew. Her family is involved in children and youth groups with their church. She loves movies and picnics in the park.
KELLYE TAYLOR
CHARGE ENTRY, CREDENTIALING, & ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE SPECIALIST
Kellye is a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) through the American Academy of Professional Coders. She has over 20 years of experience in the medical field with a special focus on coding and billing. She began her medical career in 1998 as a medical assistant on the clinical side but switched to billing in 2002. She handles charges and accounts receivable. She also assists with credentialing and clearinghouse enrollments.
Kellye is a mother of three and has been happily married to her husband for 14 years. She enjoys photography, reading, and writing short stories.
MINDY HEJNY
ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE SPECIALIST & PATIENT SERVICES
Mindy is the first person you will interact with when calling our billing line. She has worked in the medical billing industry since 2003. She handles all inbound calls, assisting patients with billing questions. She also manages insurance claims and appeals, ensuring claims are properly processed.
Mindy is a proud mom to her three sons. She is also the Nursery Director of her church. Mindy enjoys quality time with friends and family…especially watching her boys play sports!
MARCI ADAMS
CHARGE POSTER & DOCUMENT SCANNER
Marci began her medical billing career in 1996. After starting out as a receptionist, she transitioned into billing operations as a charge poster.
Marci enjoys spending time with her 19-year daughter. Her true passions are cooking and gardening.
